Authentic Spanish Paella Recipe
Not normally the most beautiful of meals, the Paella makes up for what it can lack in aesthetics with its amazing taste. Dating back to the tenth century, Paella was a dish families would eat at large gatherings. The dish would begin with rice and then fish, meat, spices and vegetables would be added to taste. Rice is also cooked with stock to further add to the flavours of this dish.

If I have some fish and tomatoes in my fridge then I will choose a meal that includes these ingredients, and then shop for the additional ones. I do prefer meals that are adaptable, you can then suit them to your mood, the occasion, or the season.
