You’ll Never Live It Down

If you’ve been reading this blog for a while you know that my family is very close and more than a little strange. Another thing about them is that they, like so many families, love being able to tease about really dumb things we’ve done. I seem to have a real penchant for doing dumb things and my family loves to tell me, “You’ll never live it down!” Why the picture of the dime? Read on and I’ll explain.

Families never let you live down your embarrassing moments!

The whole embarrassing story is here

I'm a wife, mom, and grandma (known as Bam) who loves cooking, baking, gardening, and all things that go into making a cozy coop for my brood. I have a disability so you may pick up tips on how to do things when some things just don't work right!

  1. If I had been sitting there in your seat and that had been my first time hearing that, I would have thought and done the same. But I had heard the phrase the first time under different conditions so… lol when you said he hollered that I knew where your story was going.

I can only imagine what the guy trying to sell you the dime must have thought. Like what was he going to do with the loose change? It gets heavy in the pocket after a while and makes noise, etc. lol As a waitress I always hated it when someone tipped with a HUGE wad of change because then I was stuck carrying it for the night and if I traded it in at the register the cashier got mad because she had to count it all out at closing, but it happens. So yea, I’m thinking you “made someone’s day” doing that. 😛 And he couldn’t give it back to you and explain himself because the cops were right behind you! How awesome was that?

      1. OMG I just thought this one: Probably thought you saved his life because he had the munchies and now he could hit up the nearest vending machine with exact change. LOL He probably got the mother load of goodies that day.

  2. Wow you were so innocent to not know that. I am wondering what a great laugh those policemen would have had after you left.
