There are some absolutely lovely blogs out there and I want to continue to share some of the blogs I can’t stop visiting. This is the second in what I know will be a continuing series of posts. And please don’t forget to visit the blogs from the first in the series. Now on to blogs you should check out 2!
The Sixpence at Her Feet. Sister Madly, as she is known, may be one of the funniest, most intelligent people I’ve known. The first post I read on her blog was The Stone-Cold Logic of a Past-Life Halibut. I have to warn you – I nearly wet myself laughing.
Rachel Mankowitz The Cricket Pages is a must follow if you love dogs! Cricket and her sister Butterfly are a never-ending source of humor and the pictures are just great! And if you have seen West Side Story you must view the first few minutes before reading Stay Cool Cricket!
Edge of Humanity is a fabulous site with photographs by professional photographers and stories that will tug at your heartstrings, make you angry, and totally captivate you! Documenting My Mother’s Last Days brought tears to my eyes.
Frugal Farm Wife a.k.a. Elise has recipes, tips for frugal living and DIY. She writes about family with tips on parenting. I loved her post 8 Ways to Save Money on High Quality Groceries! And if you’re into essential oils, Elise can help you out with that as well!
She’s Moving Mountains. Okay. I admit this is a shameless plug for the blog written by my former daughter-in-law but it really is good! Mindy writes about parenting (3 kids; 2 teenagers and an 8 year old), homemaking, and the things that happen in her part of the world. I really liked her post on 10 Ways to Avoid the Winter Blues.
The Showers of Blessing is the work of Miriam Hurdle. Miriam is a wonderful photographer, poet, and all around lovely person. I know you’ll enjoy her blog! She just posted about a walk she took and the photographs made me long to be there!
MSnubutterflies is a warm, friendly blog with posts about living with MS but also much more. You’ll find recipes you’ll love and DIY tips. And if you want to read a beautiful story about true love in real life read In Need of a Friend!
Kool Kosher Kitchen. What can I say? Don’t go through life without checking out Dolly’s blog. You don’t just get amazing recipes you get an incredible story to go with each recipe! You have to read Mandarin Chicken Without a Hat! And there are videos!
Cooking with a Wallflower is another incredible blog if you’re a foodie! Andrea even made free blog printables to help you organize your work!
My Struggling Heart is a blog I already mentioned as a must read but Bruce’s story is worth talking about twice! You really need to start at the beginning of Bruce’s posts. 341 days, 4 hours, 38 minutes ago will have you on the edge of your seat. And it’s Bruce’s real story!
Thank you for a glowing endorsement – that was unexpected and very sweet of you! I am honored and humbled.

I’m so in love with your blog! I know folks are going to love it as much as I! And, this may sound odd, but did you nominate me for the One Lovely Blog Award? Someone did and I can’t find the comment.

No, not I, and the reason is that I am cooking up another nomination for you. Thank you again, and the love is mutual!

I feel like such a jerk because I haven’t responded and that person probably thinks I’m ungrateful.

Did that person send you a message about the award?

No. I finally figured out how to go back through old comments and found it!

Noam Chomsky did pretty well, I hear. Your turn to try.

I have to admit I’d be cheating. I learned some ASL when my kids were tiny so I could “holler” at them without making a sound!

You did nothing wrong! It was me not being able to find your comment! Thank you for letting me know!

Not all the links worked for me though, so I had to do a search to find the blogs. Not sure if the issue is just on my end, or if there is something going on with the links.

Darn it! It’s probably me. I did SO much better with rotary dial phones than with computers. Thanks for telling me. I’ll go try to figure it out.

Some days I wonder if we should all switch back to rotary phones just to teach everyone to slow down and learn a little patience!

It hasn’t been all that long since we could dial 4 numbers and reach anyone in the village (and the townships).

Apparently Word Press made some edits. The links should all work now!

It is great opportunity to find great blogs I never knew!! Thank you Elizabeth!!
I clicked blog links which you recommend but it doesn’t work. Is it only my computer problem? I don’t know.
The links on your first one “Blogs you should check out” was working.
