If You Love Dogs

Many of you know we have two dogs. Remy (who may someday be my new Service Dog) and Henry, our spare dog. Although Remy only occasionally helps me out and thinks his most important task is getting his bag of treats each evening and although Henry thinks his job is to sneak on the bed at night (with the help of his accomplice, Mr. C) I love them both like crazy. So anything about dogs catches my attention. If you love dogs as much as I do you’ll get a kick out of these!

If you love dogs you'll love these!

This way to really funny dogs!

I'm a wife, mom, and grandma (known as Bam) who loves cooking, baking, gardening, and all things that go into making a cozy coop for my brood. I have a disability so you may pick up tips on how to do things when some things just don't work right!

  1. The dog shampoo bottle is hilarious! We had a dog at my parents’ house when I was in my early 20s and when Charles (4) was about 6 months old, we began an adoption process for a much-too-cute beagle-daschund mix. Unfortunately, it fell through when my husband (who’d never had a dog before) realized how much work and money a dog was. I ended up pretty much having to choose between having a dog and having my relationship. But I still really want one. I managed to convince him to let me get one for the family once all the kids are in school (which is like in, forever, but hey, it’s better than nothing!).

    1. If you don’t mind them get a poodle. They’re hypo-allergenic, don’t shed, can wear a puppy cut forever (which means no fancy grooming – you can shave them), and they’re really biddable (they like to do what they’re taught)! I was a dog trainer for decades.

      1. Interesting, thanks for the heads up! Actually, the problem ended up being that our dog got sick. She probably ate something one a walk that didn’t set well with her tummy (that’ll be the Beagle in her). Anyway, we ended up having to bring her in to the emergency veterinary hospital (because, of course, these things always happen when the regular vets are closed). It cost us 500$ and my husband’s an accountant who’s a little obsessed with money, ha!
