I decided, in the interest of fair play, to post a few pictures of my dogs. Well, fair play and because they’re out by the road protesting that they’re not getting any online attention. They feel upstaged by those ducks. Because he’s bigger and can knock me down if he doesn’t feel loved I’m starting with Remy whose full name is Remington Steele.
he’s adorable – great name too

Such a beautiful dog! If I lived closer to you, I might be tempted to dognap him (just kidding). If you and I are still blogging by the time I’m allowed to have a dog, I’ll write about him/her. Cheers!

Dognapping Remy would involve you saying, “Would you like to live with me?” and getting out of the way as he made a beeline for your car. He’s easy. But you’d get Henry (our spare dog), too.

Such a beautiful dog. When we live in a house I want a dog, a really big dog like a Great Dane, Mastif, Newfoundland, or St. Bernard. I will name him Hagrid. I’ve nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award. http://healthynappynerdymommy.com/2017/02/11/the-versatile-blogger-award

Thank you so much! I’m honored! I’ll check it out as soon as I can. My first Service Dog was a Great Dane. Just so you know, Newfie’s have oil in their coats to protect them from water. It makes them a bit…smelly. And all the ones you named can be HUGE droolers. You may want to consider a dog with a tight mouth like an Anatolian or other tight-mouthed breeds if the idea of cleaning up dog slobber constantly isn’t your idea of fun. I was a trainer for years so I’d be happy to talk with you about any of the breeds you want.

I will. I am actually trying to talk my husband into getting a service dog for his seizures.
