Largest Power Outage in Michigan History

I’m on borrowed time. Our power went out Wednesday night and Michigan has been dark since.

I’ll be back as soon as we have power and I defrost myself.

      1. Yes. We had a very long, very strong wind storm. It took down a lot of trees which took down power lines all over the state. I sat all day watching fire trucks rushing from our village to the next and their trucks coming back to help out our guys. There were quite a few fatal fires during the blackout.

      2. Yes. Our youngest son was a bit upset we didn’t come right to his house. They never lost power. But we managed for the first few days. We were ready to head out the day we got power back. And Pete kept his gf’s grandmother (our next door neighbor) from killing herself. She wanted to put her new generator in the basement!

    1. Remy never gets cold. He lies in the snow. Henry is under two blankets and a sleeping bag. He says he’ll come out in May. The ducks think I finally made good on my threat to put them in the freezer.
