Happy St. Patrick’s Day

I’m quite proud of my Irish heritage so I thought I’d share some of the music I grew up hearing!

And here’s one Mama used to sing all the time!

And of course…

And it wouldn’t be St. Patrick’s Day without

  1. Nice choices! There were several punk/Irish folk bands that I was really into in my teens and 20s. I have Irish ancestors, too. I studied British history in University but my mentor was a professor of Irish history, so I ended up taking a few Irish history classes. I’ve always loved Irish art. I have a big tattoo on my left forearm arm, that was inspired to draw from the Book of Kell’s. I couldn’t possibly draw really good knotwork, but my tattoo artist is good at it. 😋
