I’m quite proud of my Irish heritage so I thought I’d share some of the music I grew up hearing!
And here’s one Mama used to sing all the time!
And of course…
And it wouldn’t be St. Patrick’s Day without

I’d forgotten the Unicorn song!

I heard it last night at a dance out. My daughter was the first one up to do the motions. Her dance friends laughed.

Irish music is playing in our house almost daily, I swear. My husband is constantly playing it, whistling a tune and singing at the top of his lungs. Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Nice choices! There were several punk/Irish folk bands that I was really into in my teens and 20s. I have Irish ancestors, too. I studied British history in University but my mentor was a professor of Irish history, so I ended up taking a few Irish history classes. I’ve always loved Irish art. I have a big tattoo on my left forearm arm, that was inspired to draw from the Book of Kell’s. I couldn’t possibly draw really good knotwork, but my tattoo artist is good at it. 😋

Today I will watch what I expect to be a great rugby match between England and Ireland – as usual I won’t comment on it for fear of spoiling it for those who have had to record it.
