A funny thing happened that made me decide to make my Simple Slow Cooker Pot Roast for dinner. Andi had loaned me her DVDs for “Desperate Housewives.” I’d never watched it and Andi was sure I’d find it funny. I did but a couple of lines in the series made Mr. C snicker. He didn’t laugh. He snickered. And it was then that I knew I needed to make Simple Slow Cooker Pot Roast.
lol at shock treatment…I don’t like to peel the potatoes. It seems they stay firmer and don’t get all mush around the ends. I could smell this, mmmmm 😉

I admit I usually peel them for this but I was so rushed yesterday I figured I wouldn’t. Besides, the nutrition is in the peels. And he wanted “food.”

LOL I peel them sometimes but closer to never LOL They are the most nutritious part but it’s more for the texture for me. I don’t care about stinking nutrition LOL

Yes but it sounds better if you use the nutrition excuse! lol

Nice post.
I haven’t tried it yet (mostly because the Mister hates radishes), but I’ve been told you can use radishes in place of the potatoes and eat them the same way without losing flavor (you also lose the carbs). My sister and BIL do this all the time and now my Mom does it too. They say they can’t really tell the difference.

I’ve never thought about using radishes. Mr. C first like then either. Cool idea though!

I don’t really peel the potatoes, but I scrub them.
