Since I fell on my butt taking pictures nearly two weeks ago I’ve discovered life with a sprained foot isn’t easy. I have a list of chores a mile long and I can’t do most of them. But, thanks to Mr. Comfortable and Pete life with a sprained foot isn’t all bad!

I'm a wife, mom, and grandma (known as Bam) who loves cooking, baking, gardening, and all things that go into making a cozy coop for my brood. I have a disability so you may pick up tips on how to do things when some things just don't work right!

It’s getting better but I can’t stay off it completely. And Pete is over every day to help!

I’m glad it is getting better just try not to do too much you don’t want to aggravate the injury!

LOL I planned in being good and staying off it but I’m me. I’ve been working my tail off for the last three days trying to catch up.

Thank you. It’s getting better but I keep doing things instead of resting it.

I laughed so hard about: if you can’t torture yourself and it’s a mere 41 items. At least your great sense of humour is not injured. 🙂

The list grew. It’s now 60 items! LOL But my foot is mostly holding up. Mr. C is constantly telling me to go sit down and I say “Right after I (fill in chore).” Pete texts me “Don’t kill yourself” before he comes over and after he leaves. He and I washed a wall Thursday but he wasn’t happy. I did ask Mr. C to mop the kitchen & family room floors.

Just try(I know it might be hard) every hour and a half to at least elevate it for 10 to 15 minutes. It will get better quicker and you won’t run the risk of getting a blod clot,

I don’t have a choice about resting it. It really hurts after about thirty minutes up. The worst is sitting because it just hangs there. It looks really good today. Just some bruises left ad’s the swelling is way down.

Thanking God for that 🙂

Hope it improves soon – but did it really need all that bandage? 🙂

I thought it was excessive but Mr. C and Pete said it was the only way to keep me from running around.

Get better soon. My husband had knee surgery 3 weeks ago and is still staggering around! These things take time.

Oh your poor husband! This is just a little sprain. He really went through it! Kiss his knee for me in a mama way.

It’s been four weeks and he is still hauling himself up the stairs but hopefully better with time thanks.

Our youngest boy had knee surgery when he was 15 so he recovered like kids do. Fast. But he had more trouble with it than I thought he might. Knees are important!

The physio keeps telling him that at his age it will take time – it’s not going down well!
