The Wonders of Sunrise

Last night I didn’t sleep at all. By the very wee hours I was exceptionally frustrated. All I wanted to do was sleep. As the sky just began to lighten I went to sit on the porch. At least if I began complaining about lack of sleep no one would have to hear it. But as I sat there I experienced again the wonders of sunrise.

I'm a wife, mom, and grandma (known as Bam) who loves cooking, baking, gardening, and all things that go into making a cozy coop for my brood. I have a disability so you may pick up tips on how to do things when some things just don't work right!

    1. Remy is a sweet dog. He’s not the S.D. my Houston was but that’s mostly my fault. I didn’t spend enough time working with him because I was out of the wheelchair and feeling pretty decent. But I really need to get working with him as I think I’ll be needing him a lot in the near future.

      1. He does a few tasks which he actually learned watching Houston. I’ve been getting along so well with just my walker or cane that I haven’t spent much time with Remy. With Houston I was still in the wheelchair and so he had to learn a LOT!

      2. My foot is great. Thank you for asking. Anatolians learn by watching. When we went to pick Remy up in Arkansas he was already out in a pasture 10 miles from home learning to be a livestock guardian from two adult Anatolians. So when he got home and was with Houston (also an Anatolian) he just instinctively watched.

      3. I’m glad! 😀

Remy is from Arkansas?! Haha, I’m from Arkansas too. XD

Wow! So he not only has the abilities to help you, he can also can guard livestock? That is really awesome!

      4. Remy says, “Woof, y’all.” His breed is livestock guardian. I don’t know how he’d do now. He’s afraid of the ducks. I think sheep would make him faint.
