Mulberry Barbecue Sauce

A few years ago I tried blueberry barbecue sauce. I’m brave that way. It was quite good. But I have a mulberry tree not blueberry bushes (yet). This morning I check my mulberry tree to see if the fruit is ripe yet. Of course it’s too early but I get excited about the crop of mulberries each summer. One of the things I use these delicious berries for is my Mulberry Barbecue Sauce.

  1. This sounds so good. It got me thinking, maybe instead of the veggie dinners, you can make Mr. C smoothies with things like the mulberries and add tons of veggies in there. I use fruit to hide the veggie in smothies all the time, nobody knows they are in there. Easy to do when you have dark fruit, I use strawberries, blackberries, blue berries and raspberries, then you can put all kinds of good veggies in it and no one can tell because the colour of the fruit covers the green. I’ve never had mulberries but they look dark enough to where it just might work. I never use ice, makes them bitter, I use banana and a dollop of yogurt to make it thick.
