Herbed Shrimp with Lemon Orzo and Peas

After Jami and John’s wedding I had a really tough time getting out of bed. Even my nails and teeth felt swollen. For a couple of days we survived on what I call fast food; Hamburger Helper and frozen pizza. But we needed a real meal before long so I made something simple but really tasty – Herbed Shrimp with Lemon Orzo and Peas.

  1. I saw this and thought, there is no way it’s easy, like you first said. It looks like you worked for hours. I can always count on you to surprise me with the most delicious recipes, that are easy enough where I can understand, and I don’t need 43 ingredients LOL. Thank you Elizabeth. Prayed and thanking God for you feeling better.

  2. Oh my, that looks amazing! 😍 I love shrimp; I have to try this! I hadn’t heard of orzo before – I had to throw that one into Google to find out what it was. 😅 I wasn’t able to find it at the grocery store though; do you think I could use another kind of pasta like spaghetti or maybe substitute rice instead? 🙂
