It was hot yesterday. The actual temperature was 91 degrees Fahrenheit. That’s 32.7778 Celsius for those of you who measure that way. I didn’t want to grill outside. Standing over a flame held zero appeal. And I didn’t want to turn on the oven either. So I decided to pull out my slow cooker and make Marinated Slow Cooker Chuck Roast.

Thank you. It was really good but I do want to try it in the oven when it cools off.

I love a good recipe :):) I was laughing from, “I thought about feeding it to the dogs and having ice water” to the end. Thank you for another delicious recipe 🙂

I’m going to recreate that one in the oven when it cools off a bit. It may work out better NOT in the slow cooker but for this heat the oven was out!

I don’t blame you. Of course I have been craving everything that seems to need to go into the oven. lol 🙂

Isn’t that the way when it’s so hot?

Yes, and it seems everybody in the eating vicinity is the same way. All the requests, I have had recently, are oven oriented lol

I’m craving a snack but I can’t figure out what I want. And I just throw everything up anyway.

I’ve been on an eating spree myself. I’m starving but the thought of actually eating the food is what’s making me queasy, if that makes sense. Why are you throwing everything up? LOL sorry look at me being all nosey 😉 haha

I just published about why I’m getting sick all the time. My new son-in-law bashed the side of my head in. *gasp* LOL It was an accident and I apparently have a concussion.

Well, I remembered reading that but I had no idea it was that bad. So sorry it’s so bad. I bet your new son-in-law feels horrible

I didn’t tell him about the concussion. He felt bad enough about running into me so hard. He doesn’t need details.

I just pray you will feel better soon 🙂

Thank you. I thought it took a much harder hit to get a concussion and that you always lost consciousness. I was less right than I usually am about that.

I use to think that but the doctor told me a few things to look for if someone (my son at the time) took a hard hit. The body is a funny and baffling thing lol

True. We’re wonderously made but it can be confusing!

I think my son-in-law actually hurt me. I’ll have to explain in more depth but I may need to see the doctor.

It’ll be fine. It may be a concussion. No big.

Sounds like it IS a big deal! A concussion is pretty serious. You should definitely go to the Dr.! Í
I don’t want to pry, but did he shove you or accidentally trip you? He didn’t do it on purpose, did he?

I just posted about it. No. It was an accident. He’s a sweet, sweet kid.

I see, I looked at your post. I really like it. 🤣Poor guy, he must feeling so bad about hurting you.
My mother in law has RA so if I bumped her, she would get a serious injury! But my father in law could easily knock me over
He is in his 70s!

I haven’t told him about the concussion. He’s such a sweet kid and he felt bad enough about it without knowing the details. And the headache has been subsiding slowly.
My friend Eileen has RA so I know what you mean about your mother-in-law! Your father-in-law sounds like my son-in-law! lol
