I came from a large, Irish Catholic family. Every Sunday we attended Mass and I remember Daddy on his knees each night praying before he went to bed. Spirituality in an Irish family is very important. But, as a kid, we viewed things a little differently than the adults.

This is great Elizabeth. I can see all the kids gathered around the table, silverware in hand. Our love for God, when we are children is the best. This made me happy :):):)

You’re right, that second prayer is much better! 😄 I love the gratitude in it, and the whole ritual with it. The possibility if getting stuck with a piece of silverware would make it more exciting!
