In 1725 Arthur Guinness was born in County Kildare, Ireland. With £100 he inherited from his godfather Arthur started a small ale brewery in 1752. And in 1759 he moved to Dublin and signed a 9,000 year lease on a rather dilapidated and ill-equipped brewery. I’m so glad he did because 258 years later I can make Mama’s Guinness Irish Stew!

It’s still telling me, “Oops! That page can’t be found.
It looks like nothing was found at this location. Try the search below”. When I put in the search box, “Mama’s Guinness Irish Stew”, it says, “Sorry, but nothing matched your search terms. Please try again with some different keywords.” If that helps you at all Elizabeth 🙂

Will you please check it out now? I think I found the problem. I think I thought it was working because people were liking it but I don’t think they actually tried to go to the full post.

Elizabeth, I am soooo sorry it took me this long to get back with you, you can tar and feather me later :):) Yes, it is working now. Oh my goodness, wow this sounds so good, looks good. You’ve got me drooling! AND I got a history lesson about beer and widgets, and of course some laughs…what, no bacon grease or lard? ok use oil hahaha. 😉

It’s fine, Margaret. It took me a while to find the issue. That widget is fun for me. I don’t drink the beer but I play with the can after! And how can people NOT have bacon grease or lard? 🙂

I just removed the link and re-inserted it. Maybe that will work. I’ll keep an eye out to see if you and Margaret were able to get to it.

Same message. The internet doesn’t want you sharing your Irish stew.
