Yesterday I met with the cardiologist. I had quite a few reservations about this appointment for reasons I’ll explain further on in this post. But, after talking with her for just about 10 minutes I was smitten. I heart my cardiologist and I’m pretty sure she won’t let me die!

Hell Week
I believe that term is usually reserved for the week that frat boys take to harass and torture their pledges all in the name of “brotherhood.” But this week has been, for me, a hell week of a different nature. Join me on the journey recalling this hell week but hold on to your hats!
Christmas To Do List Update
Although it feels as if it’s going slowly I’m enjoying checking things off my Christmas to do list. For a moment I took it on as something I had to get done quickly. I have that bad habit. But I stopped myself and I’m taking my time and savoring the individual items. This is my Christmas To Do List update!
Christmas Shopping and More
Tuesday I had physical therapy and it was a bit more tiring than I expected. Kay, the therapist added a few new things, including what I can only describe as a sobriety test. I really have to wait until after PT to hit the pub! Wednesday was much more fun! Mr. C and I took Lexie out for Christmas shopping and more. It was a great day although I was exhausted when I got home and there was still more on the agenda!
Up and moving
For a few weeks at the end of October and beginning of November I felt completely worn out. That would have been okay except I wasn’t doing enough to cause such fatigue. Now that I have the diagnosis of Myasthenia Gravis I have en explanation but I won’t start treatment until the neurologist sees me next week. Thus, I’ve still been dragging my heels. But with Christmas right around the corner I realized I must get up and moving!
Advent
A wonderful post for the season!
The season of Advent has begun. The word advent means “to arrive” in a notable or surprising way (Oxford Dictionary). Hence, it serves as the root of our word “adventure,” which implies daring, the unknown. In short: An experience that can change a person forever. If they let it.

A Christmas To Do List
A wonderful blogger wrote that she wasn’t feeling the Christmas spirit and had decided to make a to do list to get herself in a Christmas mood. I realized, since I haven’t been very “Christmasy” for several years a Christmas to do list was a great idea to get back in the swing of things!
Going off plan
The night before last I had a game plan all set for Friday. But I’m learning that my body won’t always cooperate with my ideas. Instead of putting more things in their place, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning out the refrigerator as I thought I would do I found myself going off plan. I did accomplish something but it was not at all what I expected.
