Recently I made my Simple Woman’s Chicken Cordon Bleu. This seems to have made Mr. Comfortable start thinking and he requested I come up with a BLT version of the dish. I’m not going to tell him but creating BLT Chicken Cordon Bleu was an easy task!
The last couple of weeks have been really rough on my physically. I think the weather played a large part since it was in the 60’s one day then the 30’s the next and continued to roller-coaster that way. I’ve also had a flare of the CRPS which scares the heck out of me. And the worst part was that I felt so awful I didn’t want to cook and we ate take-out twice! I finally decided I needed to restock my freezer meals and I thought I’d share what I made with 10 Freezer Meals to Make This Weekend.
It snowed last night reminding me that winter really is here and the soup season is on. A really tasty and filling soup doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg. My Loaded Baked Potato Soup is rich and silky and will leave you with a full tummy and wallet! Even my picky youngest son loves this soup. But he, as he’s stated, would eat a baby if I wrapped it in bacon!
Every once in a while Mr. Comfortable likes to have breakfast for dinner. For the past 39 years I’ve made French toast the same way. Tonight I thought I’d try a recipe for French toast by Alton Brown, whose recipes I generally enjoy. There was one difference but it was minor. Unfortunately, it did not wow Mr. Comfortable as I thought it would.
