Keller Whole Roast Chicken

My very dear friend, Peg is coming for dinner and I’m going to serve chicken. That may seem like a kind of cheap and commonplace dinner to serve to a close friend but I’m making this chicken in a way I know Peg will love. I usually call Peg my Guinea Peg because I like to try out recipes on that poor woman but I’ve already tested this recipe and all I can say is I have no problem serving it to people I care about! It’s simple but very tasty and since it’s the recipe of a world famous chef I call it Keller Whole Roasted Chicken.

Whole Pecan Rub Roasted Chicken

We eat a lot of chicken. It’s still one of the less expensive proteins but finding ways to make it so it’s not the same old bird over and over can be a challenge. If you’ve been reading this blog for a while you know our youngest son, Pete and his girlfriend Andi live very nearby. And we generally treat both houses as one household. That means if we have something in our cupboards or pantries it’s fair game. And I found something that got me really excited today at their house; Georgia Brothers Pecan Rub. I grabbed the bottle and tonight I’m making Whole Pecan Rub Roasted Chicken.
