I live a few miles outside a very small village (and, yes, it’s a village not a town or city). It’s not one of those quaint little places with street after street of “darling” shops and upscale eateries. It’s a rural, getting-by-by-the-seat-of-our-pants village. But my village does have some odd, somewhat endearing things about it. Take, for example, the village police department…
Yay, you did it!!! The village post! 🙂 I love little places like that, where everybody knows everybody. What’s the population there? I grew up in a little village of about 1000 people! If I’m ever “up” (down, actually haha) that way, I’ll make sure we make a stop at “The Goat” 🙂

If we stop at The Goat we may end up being dragged around the corner to the funeral home…err..police department! Cool!
I don’t know the population of the actual village. But I DO know that you can’t do anything here without everyone knowing! LOL I’ll have to tell you about the time I got robbed with my younger son and what happened at the trial!

Oh that sounds like a Dukes of Hazard story in the making!! Tell you what, if I ever DO get out that way, you and I are going to make it a POINT to get dragged out to the fune—-police station…my treat!! LOL

OH my goodness that was so sweet and funny at the same time. I think it would make perfect sense to have the police and the funeral home in the same place!! I love your little village!

It really would, wouldn’t it? I don’t know why the funeral home moved. Although now it’s just on this side of the post office which puts it right near the cemetery.

Everyone was so happy when he got arrested. And now the ice cream parlor has both a clean reputation AND a clean interior!
