This recipe comes directly from Betty Crocker™ and I haven’t made any changes. I decided to make Rainbow Chip Gooey Butter Cookies because I haven’t done much baking this summer. But I didn’t want to have to do too much work!

I always see recipes for the cake mix cookies but never tried them because well even if they aren’t good, I’m not wasting cookies, and would have to eat them 🙂 These look great and if you say they are good, I believe you :):)

LOL I’M with you on wasting cookies. It should be illegal.

Thank you! It was a recipe from Betty Crocker but I thought I’d give it a try. They’re a good cookie for when you don’t want to bake from scratch.

Absolutely. I love to bake from scratch when I have plenty of time, but have no problem baking from a box quite a bit too!

I had baking baguettes planned for yesterday but my hands had other ideas. And dessert for family dinner tomorrow is going to be from a box. My fingers still don’t want to bend.
