This list has some of my old favorites and some new blogs I’ve recently discovered. I think you’ll enjoy reading them. You’ll see glorious photos of food and scenery; get your funny bone tickled, and your emotions touched. On to Blogs You Should Check Out 5!

Keralas Live is the food blog of Sumith but it’s really more a beauty pageant for food! Sumith can transform ingredients into incredible dishes but it’s his creativity at designing presentation that astounds me! Take a look at Egg Roast with Rice and tell me you’re not jealous!

Ce le Reve Francais is Amanda’s gorgeous food blog. I love this girl because she, like I, is in love with food! I also love that I can find recipes like Twisted Toad in the Hole which just delights my little American heart!

Derrick J. Knight is another recent find and I love, love, love it! Half-term is a fine example of his photography that makes you feel as if you were right there with him. And Forest Pursuits had me considering life as an expat!

I had to include these two in my Blogs You Should Check Out 5 because they’ve really made an impact with me.

The World’s Okayest Mom is Katii. I recently found this absolutely hysterical young woman’s blog and I’m so glad I did! Her post 6 Must Haves for the Busy Mom on the Go is very helpful (even for us grandmas) but the second part of the post is a hoot! I made the mistake of reading it in the wee hours and woke up every creature in the house (including Mr. C) laughing! And the fact that Katii is giving me her youngest did not influence me to include her because she won’t sign a contract saying she’ll take him back when I get tired.

This is my Ducking Life chronicles the life of a newly single mother of an 8 year old. It can be irreverent but you can count on the honesty. really touched me. And the fact that she’s a fellow Michigan girl doesn’t hurt!
