Everyone is all excited about today being the International Day of Happiness. When I woke up this morning I’d already been bombarded by posts on every social media platform about being happy. Don’t get me wrong. I’m all for happiness. Happiness is a good thing and we should all strive to make others happy and be happy ourselves. But aren’t we forgetting something? Today is also (and more importantly) World Frog Day!

We get those little frogs with the sticky feet (see? I know all about everything like the sticky-footed frog) every spring. I love those little guys! One got in the house last spring & the dogs were both fascinated and terrified. This really makes me nervous since one is over 100 pounds & 32″ at the shoulder and the other is part pit bull – and they were afraid of a frog the size of a quarter. If they’re all that stands between me and rape/murder I’m a dead woman.
