Working on the Duck Cabin

We’ve been fighting our usual Michigan weather to start building the cabin for Freckles and Penguin. One day it’s 70 degrees and sunny and the next it’s 45 degrees and raining. But we have had enough nice days that we’re finally able to begin working on the duck cabin!

I'm a wife, mom, and grandma (known as Bam) who loves cooking, baking, gardening, and all things that go into making a cozy coop for my brood. I have a disability so you may pick up tips on how to do things when some things just don't work right!

  1. This is exciting. The drawing made me smile because that’s what we always do, draw anything out. Usually 2 drawing. I draw that I want, then hubby will use that same graph paper and draw the “construction” version. I always laugh because my drawing looks like the drawing you have on the bottom. Hubbys always looks like the box. I can’t wait t see pictures as it’s being built.

      1. When Pete sent me the video I thought he was joking but he wasn’t and it’s a great design! Well, I’m off to go plant sugar snaps! If I don’t see you have a wonderful time on vacation!
