Mennonite Salisbury Steak

When we lived in Illinois we attended a church that was an off-shoot of the Mennonites. Every Sunday there was a community meal served after the service. It was there that I collected so many wonderful recipes from the Mennonites and also from the Amish folk. Mennonite Salisbury Steak is a simple, comforting meal you’ll love.

I'm a wife, mom, and grandma (known as Bam) who loves cooking, baking, gardening, and all things that go into making a cozy coop for my brood. I have a disability so you may pick up tips on how to do things when some things just don't work right!

    1. After days of chasing that darned fly around with everything from a wet dish towel to a rolling pin it’s finally gone. But not because I got it. It flew over by the doorwall when I was taking the dogs out and flew out on its own. By that time I wanted to not just kill it but torture it for a few days. I still have a facial tic because of that thing!

      1. hahaha I had what I thought was one fly last week. Chased that thing all over, finally got it with a dish towel, scooped it up, and threw it out side. I don’t trust them in the trash, I don’t care if it’s smashed flat, it might come back hahaha. But after I killed it about an hour later, another fly, that’s when I realized I had more than one.
